Dear team members,
dear customers and business partners,

The last months have unleashed an almost daily torrent of bad news, dire announcements and horror scenarios on you, on our company group, and on me. The »crisis« that has been all over the media has reached us as well – we are in the middle of it.

There have been cuts that have affected us all. All of us have to make sacrifices now that we could not have imagined only a few months ago. The only way we can cope with this extraordinary situation is to work together.

I see an opportunity to make ourselves fit for the future, to question existing processes and to blaze new trails. 
I want to invite and challenge all of you to go on this journey with us, and with me. We need your ideas, your support and your trust.

Because this crisis will change our company permanently, and we – you and me – will have to change as well.
In some cases, relations with suppliers and customers have been affected as well. Everybody feels the pressure and strain of the economical challenge. Here, too, there have been cuts, and more cuts will be necessary.

Nevertheless, we should take great care to interact fairly and constructively with our business partners. 
Here, too, entrepreneurial vision means to create our partnerships with an eye on the future, so that we can all benefit from them.

We would do well to heed the words of Swiss writer Max Frisch: »A crisis is a productive state. One must simply remove its bitter aftertaste of catastrophe.« On this note, I am looking forward to a continued productive cooperation with you.
