We are looking forward to the new year with confidence. But the causes of the crisis are still far from eliminated. The last year has shown that the companies most likely to succeed in the market are those which dare to explore new avenues and to leave behind the old, well-trodden paths.

Here at WEIS INDUSTRIES, we also had to scrutinize our old ways of thinking and to think of some new and innovative ideas for our joint success. New management concepts replaced the old, dusty ones and opened our eyes to new ideas and impulses that will propel our success in the years to come. The managers and employees of the Company Group are making crucial contributions to this development.

The shared eff ort of pursuing common goals has unleashed previously unknown levels of energy in the course of the last year. Responsible and trustful communication within the company, as well as with customers and suppliers, is one of the declared principles of the WEIS INDUSTRIES Group. The idea of pure, rational profi t maximization can never be placed above the respectful relations within an organization and beyond it. To inspire and encourage all team members to do outstanding work is a fundamental responsibility that the company group’s managing directors must rise to every day.

To never lose the awareness of and respect for the work of every individual in the company and to fully commit to the harmonious and open cooperation with customers and suppliers will be an essential task for me and all managing directors of our WEIS INDUSTRIES companies this year.
