Culture and Charity
For several years now, we have been maintaining close ties to Star Care e.V. , a nonprofit organization based in Stuttgart. The charity’s goal is to support social projects for children – a goal which we love to support with frequent donations.
The most recent example of our support is »WIM« (Weis Industries Meisterschaft), a bi-annual football tournament initiated by Alexander Weis in 2007 as a charity event benefitting STAR CARE (on June 20, 2009, it was hosted for the second time, the theme being »WIM 1959«).
In addition, we make it a point to support cultural events and regional associations, e.g. the Waiblingen Fire Brigade with hosting events surrounding their 150th anniversary in 2010.
